ARGENTINA AT THE FINAL OF THE U23 MEN'S SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Perfect scoring with three victories out of three matches played

Cartagena, Colombia, June 25, 2016 - This Friday, Argentina faced Chile at one of the semi-final matches of the U23 Men's South American Championship overcoming them 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-22) and therefore this Saturday, they will play the "classical" Continental duel against Brazil at 21.00. The winner of the match will qualify for next year's FIVB World Championship.

Argentina started this competition with a victory over Ecuador in straight sets and then, defeating Colombia 3-1 they won their pool remaining undefeated. Chile, runner-up in Pool A was the rival this Friday and even though at sometime the match seemed tied, Argentina won 3-0 and will play the great final match.

Argentina is playing with many of the young "adults" that help the seniors' on their training at Cenard facilities for a very demanding international season, that this year includes not only the premier annual competition, the FIVB World League but also the Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016. Most of the participants also were part of the Seniors' Pan-American Games, the first international competition of the year winning experience in a tournament for older athletes.
