Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 25, 2016 - Las Panteras, the Argentine Seniors' Women Team enjoyed a very intensive day interviewed by the Argentine Media this afternoon at Cenard facilities prior to the first participation of a national women's indoor team at an Olympic Games. With many journalists and the presence of the National Sport Secretary, Carlos Mac Allister the albicelestese girls are aware of the importance of their participation at the premier World Sport Competition. They will travel this Wednesday to San Pablo to train prior to arriving in Rio prior to their debut next week.

All the delegation that will travel this Wednesday were interviewed by the Media at Cenard Gym showing the great expectation they awoke on the historical moment Argentine Women's Volleyball is enjoying. After talking with the different journalists that interviewed all players, Carlos Mac Allistar, the Argentine National Sport Secretary talked with the coach of the team, Guillermo Orduña sharing a picture with the whole team.

Guillermo Orduna expressed: "We are ready, this has been a growing year for many of the players, overcoming some injuries and becoming strong in their minds. It was a time of many adjustments focusing at the last period on the importance of training. These last three weeks were very positive and we kept growing day after day".

The captain of the team, Yamila Nizetich added on this special moment: "Today it is a very important day for us because it was our last training at Cenard facilities and this Wednesday we travel to Brazil. We are very anxious because we already want to be there playing some friendly matches against local players reaching our utmost performance. I dream on seeing our team shine".

Las Panteras will travel this Wednesday at 7.00 to San Pablo to play in Campinas two friendly matches against a combined Brazilian team.

Their debut at the Olympic Games Rio will be August 6th v Russia to follow, Brazil on the 8th, Korea on the 10th, Cameroon on the 12th and Japan on the 14th on Pool A Preliminary Round.
