Again the Aldo Cantoni shone overcrowded with local fans

San Juan, Argentina, August 1, 2016 - As farewell of the Argentine Seniors' Men Team prior to their participation at the premier World Sport competition, the Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016, in front of a very warm and cheerful audience at the historical Aldo Cantoni stadium, the boys coached by Julio Velasco defeated in the second match the team of Mexico, that will also now travel to Rio's competition by 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-18) and now both team head towards Brazil.

Prior to the match, Javier Filardi, former National Team Captain and UPCN player, was honoured by the whole team, receiving an Argentine jersey as reminder of his participation of the main Argentine team.

As on the first match on Saturday, at San Juan duel, Argentina got the lead on the first TTO but on a very tied start but then, with the good performance of De Cecco setting, the score at the second TTO was 16-13. Sole and Lima started to shine to close the first set with a leadership of 4 points.

On the second set, not much changed and the first TTO score was 8-5 and with the help of Jose Luis Gonzalez and Poglajen great performance and with Mexico having their own performance problems even though they tried their utmost was won by 8 points by the albicelestes team.

Argentina included all substitutions to give the chance to all players of participating and growing in an international clash and the set finished 25-18 to give place to the celebration of the local team.
