Lausanne, Switzerland, September 12, 2016 - The Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez maintains intensive and important national and international activities planning on all development volleyball areas for the next Olympic Cycle Tokyo 2020. At this time, he already arrived to Switzerland to carry out very important International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) meetings.

Just in a couple of days, FeVA will know the path of both indoor Seniors' National Teams participating at the most competitive and premier FIVB international competitions 2017. On September 13th will take place the FIVB World League Council, premier annual men's teams competition with Argentina maintaining its team at Group 1 together with the top ranked teams from all over the World. Among the subjects to be discusses stand the playing formula (that changed this year due to the Olympic Games), the rivals of the Intercontinental Round and the return of a weekend playing as local as Argentine hosted during the whole years but this one due to the fact that instead of six weekends the intercontinental round was shorten to only three.

One day later, on September 14th, the FIVB World Grand Prix, the premier annual competition for Women's Teams will take place. Las Panteras will remain in Group 2, also knowing the rivals and the venues, with FeVA also making all efforts to host one of the weekends in Argentina.

Juan Antonio Gutierrez, that travelled together with the Argentine Men's Team manager, Osvaldo Celia will meet with FIVB President, Ary Graca to discuss two very important subjects with reference to Argentine Volleyball. First, all details of the FIVB Elective World Congress, to be hosted October 4th - 6th in Buenos Aires and then, Argentine will propose to organize the U 17 Girls World Championship 2017, already confirmed after the successful organization of the last international competitions in different cities of Argentina.
