Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 1, 2016 - In an outstanding spring day with the sun welcoming hundreds of children at Polideportivo Gorki Grana, Moron City Hall carried out in 36 fields for the first time in Argentina "Volleyball Your Way", something very similar to the original created by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) inviting to enjoy an unforgettable volleyball party day surrounded by music, painting, education lectures, friendship, family, integration and lots of volleyball in a four hour event organized together by the FIVB, FeVA, Moron City Hall, Metropolitan Volleyball Federation and Buenos Aires 2018.

With 350 registered children, the event took place with more than 500 and their coaches and families that gathered children 4 years old to seniors about 60 years old. Volleyball 2x2, 3x3, 6x6 and Special Olympics for disabled people in different playing forms. Under the idea of keeping moving constantly, at times where there were match rests, children could learn music and to play instruments, paint and be part of the dance according to the music that embraced the facilities.

Participants looked forward to a great day of sport with the festival adopting a three-dimensional approach combining volleyball, music and educational activities to promote volleyball and raise awareness of the Volleyball Your Way movement in line with the FIVB's goal to grow the number of volleyball players worldwide.

"FeVA is very proud of being part of this movement that the FIVB created to make sport massive and that was so successful when it took place at Copacabana beach at the Olympic Games Rio 2016" expressed FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez.

For Diego Jurema, in charge of the FIVB festival the event was a success: " We have taken part of the 3D version, with Education, Art and Sport, all together and it was great. I am very excited with the result and I hope this is the first of many to come in Argentina on our way to the Youth's Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018".

Finally, with the presence of FIVB, FeVA, FMV officials and the City Hall Sport Director, Gustavo Parodi (the last giving the coaches volleyball) finished an unique volleyball day for our country as part of an outstanding volleyball week in Argentina with the FIVB Elective World Congress (October 5th - 6th) taking place at the Buenos Aires Hilton Centre and the inauguration of the refurbish Chapadmalal Venue into an International High Standard Sport Centre.
