Ancon, Peru, March 2, 2017 - Prior to the South American Beach Volleyball Grand Slam at La Florida resort in the city of Rosario, Argentina, March 10th - 12th with the best 8 pairs per gender, the Continental 2017 competition next stop will be this weekend for second consecutive year in the Peruvian city of Ancon with pairs from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Let's remember that different athletes represent their countries and the points are won by the countries and not by personal ranking. This next stop is very important as it qualifies for the Pan-American Games Lima 2019 with Peru already having as organizar one pair qualified per gender. The CSVP season includes six stops and a final one. The final ranking will be added to last season's to qualify the best four countries for the Beach Volleyball World Championship to be held in Vienna, Austria next July.

Also this season and the next two will qualify five berths for the Pan-American Games Lima 2019.

Argentina will be represented by Virginia Zonta-Estefanía Milesi (winners of the three stops of the Argentine Beach Volleyball Tour of this year) as ARG 1 while the youth's Brenda Churin and Deelfina Vilar ARG 2 (as part of the Program Buenos Aires 2018) and Julian Azaad-Nicolas Capogrosso ARG 1 while the Young Bautista Amieva (Tunuyan) and Mauro Zelayeta (Mar del Plata) and bronze medal in General Cabrera, Cordoba ARG 2.
