Santa Fe, Argentina, March 13, 2017 - The Olympic Argentine Ana Galla-Georgina Klug and the Brazilian Oscar-Hevaldo won the titles of the best both gender 8 teams at the first Grand Prix South American Beach Volleyball Tour in Rosario in a crowded beach resort next to the Parana river with a beautiful scenery in a very sunny day. The matches were lived broadcast by DirecTV for America and at the South American Volleyball Confederation website.

At the Women's competition Gallay-Klug won without any questioning over the Venezuelan Norisbeth Agudo and Gabriela Brito 3-0 (21-17, 21-15). The Argentine duet grew along the competition having lost against the Olympic Agudo and Brito at the Preliminary Round 1-2.

At semi-finals the Argentine pair eliminated the Brazilian Angela-Val 2-0 (21-11, 21-16) showing their utmost at both final matches celebrated by their relatives and the Argentine crowd. This is the first title of the season forr the Pan-American Toronto 2015 Gold Medals while the Venezuelan pair defeated Paraguay Valiente.-Mongelos also 2-0 (21-13, 21-12). The Bronze Medal was won by Brazil 2-0 (21-11, 21-16) over Paraguay.

At the men's competition Oscar-Hevaldo overcame for third consecutive competition the Chilean cousins Marco-Esteban Grimalt in a very tied 2-0 (28-26, 21-16). The Olympic Chilean pair won the Silver as in Coquimbo (Chile) and Ancon (Peru).

The Champions Oscar-Hevaldo overcame in semi-finals the host Azaad-Capogrosso in a very intensive tie-breaker 2-1 (22-20, 15-21, 15-11) while the Chilean defeated Venezuela Charly-Golindano 2-0 (21-17, 21-14). Argentina won the Bronze Medal with Capogrosso from Rosario celebrating the medal in front of his local fans.

The closing ceremony was headed by the South American Volleyball Confederation Vice-President, Marco Tullio Teixeira; the Argentine Volleyball Federation President, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez; Santa Fe Volleyball Federation President and FeVA Vice-President, Fabian Bochatay, FeVA Under-Secretary, Fabian Ramon; the President of Rosario Volleyball Association Claudio Verasio and Rosario City Hall authorities.

“We are very happy of this title at home in front of our fans in such an important competition for Argentine and South American beach volleyball. We improved our performance along the competition playing with confidence the great final" expressed after the match Georgina Klug.

For Oscar Brandao from Brazil the title "is very important as they faced the strong Chilean cousins thanks to the great work thanking Hevaldo that allowed me to win this title".
