Estanislao Vachino, Argentinean coach: “it was a good match to start the event. We were anxious, resulting in good and bad actions in the first set. Then we improved in the second one. However, in the third set, we vanished. Although we were able to react, we should praise our rivals. We know very well each other and thus we always play really close games.”

Eduardo Guillaume, Chilean coach: “We never played in a solid way, making many errors particularly in the second and fourth sets. We have not developed our best game yet. We need more playing time.”

Victoria Mayer, Argentinean setter: ”The match helped us to get into the competition and meet the expected goals for this tournament considering we will be the host team in the WCH next August. Chileans reacted very well and they fought the game.”

Maike Bartens, Chilean captain: “The Argentineans played well and we also gave them many points. We felt we were about to get them, but we made too many errors when we would could not.”
