This Friday at the end of the group stage of the Montreux Volley Masters in Switzerland, the Panthers defeated the local team in straight sets with 25-21, 25-21 and 25-20 partials. Already consummated the qualification to the semifinals, where they will face Germany this Saturday from 18:30 (local time), the squad led by Guillermo Orduna closed the group on the first place and unbeaten.

Good news continues for the Panthers, who in their first participation in the preparatory contest for the Grand Prix, repeated a good performance and beat their Swiss pair with another prolix collective task of the team. Yamia Nizetich was the top scorer again with 11 points, followed by Lucia Fresco with 10 and Elina Rodriguez with 9.

Although the Swiss were aggressive in attack, especially since the contributions of Maja Storck (15), Argentina was efficient from its serve and block that added to the errors delivered by its rival, facilitated the clear national domination throughout the game.

Guaranteed the first place of the group, now the Panthers will go through the semifinal this Saturday against Germany, who finished second of zone B behind Brazil. From 18:30 (local time) and with transmission from www.laola1.tv, Argentina will seek to get into the final.
