On its 24th South American clash on World League and in front of a full house, Argentina got an historical victory over Brazil by 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-19) after an spectacular colective game that allowed them to beat the Olympic champion.

Martin Ramos was the leader of a dreamt victory of Argentina, who played an amazing game from block and counterattack to beat its South American rival.

Brazil take the lead from the beginning with Mauricio Borges and Lucarelli silencing the crowd. Argentina played as equals with Toro as main card, but commited too many mistakes, situation well exploited by its rival to take the first, 25-19.

The roles got inverted on the second part, with Argentina playing in excellent way from its block, specially with Sole, and in defense. Brazil try to shorten the gap with Wallace, but Ramos and Poglajen maintained the situation under control for home team to tie the match (25-21).

The game continued racing its temperature with an incredible third set where Argentina, pushed by it fans, showed an amazing performance in attack with Ramos and Toro. Anyway, Brazil was not going to give up and the pair Lucarelli-Souza kept the Olympic champions' hopes alive. Neverthless, at the closure, Sole and Bruno didn't let their chance go and ended the partial 25-22.

Libero Fernandez open the fourth episode with tremendous defenses and Argentina was strong in the rallies to break Brazilian resistances. Lipe reunited with Wallace trying to revert the scoreboard, but Argentina was playing the best match of the entire tournament and kept pushing till the end thanks to its rival mistakes and its own inteligence to end an historical victory, 25-19.
