After several physical problems as a result of an intoxication that affected many players in the squad, The Panthers finished the Women's Panamerican Cup in Peru in the 8th place. In the last game of the tournament the ones leaded by Guillermo Orduna fell in five sets against Colombia with partials of 11-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20 and 7-15 in two hours of game. Dayana Segovia of Colombia was the top scorer with 26 points, while for Argentina Tanya Acosta, Sol Piccolo and Camila Hiruela contributed with 12 each.

Colombia was superior in attack (55-49) and block (16-10) and took advantage of the 28 points by error delivered by the Panthers, who received 22 of their rival.

Argentina showed alternatives in a very tough physical tournament, as Emilce Sosa, Yamila Nizetich, Helena Vidal, Sol Piccolo, Lucía Fresco, Morena Martinez and Elina Rodriguez suffered physical problems after poisoning post United States game.

Orduna sent Tanya Acosta, Martina Guastavino and Clarisa Sagardía to the field. Both Sosa and Nizetich didn't play.
