The National Team said goodbye to the World Championship with a 3-2 victory against Canada with partials of 22-25, 30-28, 25-20, 20-25 and 15-11, with Jan Martinez as the top scorer with 22 points and one great entry of Geronimo Elgueta, with 21. Thus, Argentina finished in seventh place.

In the first set, Canada was better in attack with Sani and despite some appearances of Loser and Martinez, the Americans took the partial 25-22. In the second, the development was point to point from start to finish. Argentina had an outstanding entry of Elgueta, who accompanied Martinez to tie the match after the 30-28.

In the third chapter, Argentina took advantage from the beginning (8-5), managed the development with Elgueta and Martinez as protagonists and in this way won the set by 25-20. However, Canada struck out in the fourth quarter and although Argentina got closer in the scoreboard, the Canadians had a better closure to take it to the tie break 25-20.

The final set was point to point but Argentina hurt with Elgueta and Martinez in good level, well accompanied by Loser, and finished celebrating the triumph by 15-11.
