This Saturday and in the second match of the weekend 2 of the FIVB Grand Prix, the Argentine Women's Team, the Panthers, couldn't beat Poland, who managed to contain the good national attempts and ended up winning by 3-0 with partials of 25-10, 26-24 and 25-15. Lucia Fresco led the spreadsheet with 17 points, while Poland had Agnieszca Kakolewska and Malwina Smarzek as scorers with 14 points each one. This Sunday, the closure against Peru from 17:25hs (GMT).

The first set was a monologue of the Polish team, who show great level in all their lines from the beginning of the match and didn't allow Argentina to settle on court. This way, and unstoppable from service, they got the first set.

From the second the story changed, with the Panthers clearer in reception, committed in defense and intelligent in the net to dominate their rival during practically the whole set. However, in a close point-to-point, Poland appealed to its individual hierarchy with Tomsia to break the scoreboard and also get the second partial.

In what was going to be the last chapter, Argentina began very well, but slowly the Europeans handcuffed them with low margin of error, offensive power and a great work in block that determined the victory without jolts.

Argentina this Sunday will close the second weekend when it faces Peru from 17:25hs. It will be a new chance to get its first win and also measure themselves with a direct rival in what will be the fight for qualifying for the 2018 World Championship.
