This Thursday and exactly within a yeat from the opening ceremony of the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games, the Olympic spirit flood the city with the installation in the Obelisk of the Olympic rings, main symbol of the competition, with the presence of Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, Buenos Aires' Head of Government; Gerardo Werthein, President of the Organizing Committee of the Youth Olympic Games; Li Lingwei, President of the Buenos Aires 2018 Coordination Commission of the International Olympic Committee; and authorities of FeVA and the Argentine sport.

The Youth Olympic Games will be held in the city of Buenos Aires between October, 6 and 18 2018 and will gather 241 sporting events and almost 4000 athletes from 206 countries. The opening ceremony, which will take place the day before the start of the competition, will be with a 360° festival in the Obelisk in an innovative proposal of the Local Committee that will seek to become an inclusive and participatory party with athletes and citizens.

With the active countdown, this Thursday at the opening ceremony, the authorities emphasized the importance of receiving a sporting event of such magnitude and highlighted the responsibility and pride that generates the Youth Olympic Games to be played in four parks in the city.
