In a memorable day, this Saturday ended the Youth South American Games for beach volleyball in Santiago, Chile with the double Argentine crowning with its feminine and masculine pairs that beat Brazil in both cases. On the way to the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, Delfina Villar and Brenda Churin opened the celebration after defeating their South American rival by 2-0 to give way then to Juan Bautista Amieva Tarditti and Mauro Zelayeta, who also got the gold medal against Brazil after beating it by 2-1 in a vibrant match.

The first to jump to the court were Villar and Churin, who arrived to this instance with a defeat in the group stage against Venezuela and then in an ascending path that deposited them in the final after beating Bolivia in semifinals. In the definition they faced Brazilians Maria Sena De Paula Silva and Thamela Coradello Galil and they overcame them with authority by 2-0 with scores by 21-17 and 21-15 to celebrate the gold medal.

In the men's branch and in the undefeated duel, who also got the victory was Argentina, that came up in a closed game to complete a perfect day for the national beach volleyball. The match started in a good way for the Argentines, who won with forcefulness by 21-13. However, Gabriel De Abreu Lima Pisco and Gabriel Zuliani reacted and took an even second set by 21-19. In the final partial, Amieva/Zelayeta didn't miss their chance and closed the game by 15-7 to climb to the top of the podium.
