THE A2 LEAGUE IS ABOUT TO START WITH 21 TEAMS FROM 12 PROVINCIAL FEDERATIONS

This Saturday a new edition of the A2 League will begin, this time with 21 teams from all over the country divided into three pools. In this first weekend there will be action in Formosa, Jujuy, Salta, San Juan, Villa Maria, Rosario, Santa Fe, Tucuman, Entre Rios, Dolores and La Matanza with a total of 11 games in two days.

In the regular phase, the seven teams of each zone will face each other in a round robin system and the best four will continue in the race for the first stage of home runs. Meanwhile, the three fifths and one sixth will play to maintain the category.

The twelve teams that overcome the regular phase will be qualified for the 2019 edition and the two that reach the final will have a ticket to the following season of the A1 League.

In this first weekend the games between pairs will be played with the following matches: Tucuman de Gimnasia-Ateneo, Estudiantes-San Lorenzo, San Martin-Policial, Banco Hispano-UVT, Matanza-General Belgrano, Rivadavia-La Calera and Echagüe-Paracao. In addition, Tunuyan will visit Jujuy Voley and Central Norte and Mar Chiquita will do the same in front of Club Rosario and Villa Dora.

On this initial date, the only free squad will be the Argentine Junior team, which will make its debut next week against San Martin and Policial de Formosa.
