The new cycle of the Men's National Team began its planning phase with an eye on 2019 and with the Olympic qualification to Tokyo 2020 as first goal. For that reason, the coach of the national team Marcelo Méndez headed a meeting this Tuesday with part of the staff chosen together with FeVA to drive all male categories.

The work meeting focused on the competition calendar, administrative tasks and logistics for the 2019 season, as well as delineating the project together with those who were called to complete the coaching staff.

Marcelo Méndez headed the meeting attended by Rubén Eiras, Fabián Muraco, Pablo Rico, Federico Fernández Mentaberry, Christian Coffen, Sebastián Fernández, Alejandro Bertorello, Arnoldo Albero and Oscar Cantero. The Prosecretary Fabián Ramón, the manager of the Men's National Team, Sergio Milán and the grass root manager of the national teams Diego David were also there. Other professionals that will be part of the staff will join in future meetings.

This way will start in formal terms the cycle that next year will bring players together in April facing the Volleyball Nations League and with the maximum goal of beginning the qualification road towards Tokyo 2020.
