Although the focus is on May 31, June 1 and 2, directors of the Mendoza Volleyball Federation, with its President Celia Montaruli heading, worked last week at the Aconcagua Arena in the city of Mendoza, with an inspection tour for the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) to be played there with the presence of the Men's National Team of Argentina against Portugal, Canada and Bulgaria.

The directors of the Mendoza Volleyball Federation and the technical team that will work in the organization of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) toured the recently opened stadium where Argentina will play its only official games at home in 2019.

The matches in Mendoza will also represent the debut of coach Marcelo Méndez at the Argentine National Team.

Mendoza once again will host an important competition after 4 years, when it was the venue for the FIVB World League. The tournament was disputed in the province in 2015 at the Torito Rodríguez de San Martín stadium. The World League was played for three consecutive years, where Argentina in 2013 faced the multiple champion Brazil, in 2014 against France and in 2015 against Cuba.

Led by the president Celia Montaruli and in the company of the general coordinator of the event, Fabian Concia, the tour was guided by Daniela Bulos, from the Secretary of Sports. The VNL will be the first official competition that will have the Aconcagua Arena, which has a capacity for 8,500 spectators.
