The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) continues making confirmations about the 2019 Volleyball Nations League, the most important annual tournament for national teams that had its first experience in 2018. In this case it is the venue for the men's finals , which will be at the Credit Union 1 Arena in the city of Chicago between July 10 and July 14.

Located in the state of Illinois, the "City of Winds" is a popular venue for sporting events in the United States. It will be at the University of Illinois where the finals will be played for five days with the Americans with a guaranteed place as hosts and five teams that will look the tournament crown.

In a joint organization between the FIVB, the Chicago Sports Commission, the City of Chicago and USA Volleyball, the finals will take place in a stadium for 10,000 people. The FIVB President spoke about the venue: “After a highly successful inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League in 2018, Chicago will provide an ideal setting for the Men’s Finals in 2019. Fan experience, engagement and entertainment are at the heart of the FIVB’s vision for the competition and I am sure the VNL Finals will be an exciting new highlight in the city’s busy sports calendar, providing a great show for volleyball and sports fans in the United States and around the world.”

The VNL Will start on May 31st in the male case and will be the tournament in which Marcelo Méndez debuts as coach of the National Team. Precisely the first weekend will be at home, in the Aconcagua Arena of Mendoza, against Bulgaria, Canada and Portugal.
