This Saturday ended the IV edition of the South American Beach Games in Rosario and Argentina won two silver medals with of Gallay/Pereyra in the female branch and Capogrosso/Azaad among the men. Churín/Zonta lost in the match for third place against Diana/Yuli from Colombia.

The men's semifinals began with the victory of the Uruguayan pair Vieyto/Cairus over Zavala/Lammel from Chile by 2-0 (21-15, 21-16). Argentina, on the other hand, had a difficult start against Adrielson/Renato from Brazil, but Capogrosso/Azaad tied in an agonizing final of the second set and finally prevailed in tie break with scores by 17-21, 23-21 and 15-7 to unleash the celebration at Balneario La Florida. However, in the definition the national team failed to break with the Uruguayans Vieyto/Cairus, who won by 2-0 (21-19, 21-19) and took the gold medal.

On the women's side and in the first round of the semifinals, Zonta/Churín fell to Patricia/Rebecca from Brazil by 2-0 (21-14, 21-9), while Gallay/Pereyra continued with their crushing rhythm over Diana/Yuli from Colombia and defeated them in straight sets (21-18, 21-13) to get into the final. In the match for the gold medal they faced the Brazilians, who did not forgive and with a 2-0 with scores by 21-18 and 21-19 reached the top of the podium. Regarding the bronze medal, Zonta/Churín failed to find the way to beat the Colombian team and lost 2-0.
