It was a 3-1 victory for Gimnasia on the derby of La Plata. San Lorenzo ended as best team of the round after beating Estudiantes (3-2), Gimnasia (3-1) and Banco (3-0).

In Pool G, meanwhile, local Villa Dora made a double 3-0 against Rosario and Velez to guarantee a place in semifinals.
