The first official competition for the Argentine Men's National Team already has confirmed dates and times. The FIVB published this Thursday the final calendar of the Volleyball Nations League in which Marcelo Mendez's team will make its presentation in the international soil. The first weekend will be in Mendoza and the Argentines will play on May 31 and June 1 at 21:10h against Portugal and Bulgaria respectively. On Sunday 2 the match against Canada will be at 19:10h at the end of the weekend.

The first round of the VNL will again consist of five weekends in which the 16 participating teams will seek their place in the final round to be held in Chicago, the United States, from July 10 to 14th. The National Team will begin its journey at home and then will visit Tokyo (Japan), Cannes (France), Milan (Italy) and Brisbane (Australia) in the remaining weekends.

After facing Portugal, Bulgaria and Canada in the Aconcagua Arena of Mendoza, Mendez¿s team will face Japan (7:10am), Iran (3:10am) and Brazil (3:10am) in Tokyo from June 7 to 9th. The next stop will be in Cannes to face the United States (12h), France (15h) and Germany (9h) the weekend of the 14th to the 16th.

The fourth weekend, to be played between the 21 and 23rd, will be in Milan with the games against Poland (12h), Italy (15h) and Serbia (12h). Finally, the National Team will travel to Brisbane from June 28 to 30th and will face its last matches against China (4am), Russia (3am) and Australia (3am).

At the end of the Preliminary Round, the five best teams in the general standings will join the United States -the host- to face the finals of the second edition of the tournament.
