This Monday was the official start of the season for the Women's and Men's National Teams at the National High Performance Sports Center. Hernan Ferraro and Marcelo Mendez began their cycles leading the national women's and men's teams respectively, thinking on an intense season that will have Olympic Qualification to Tokyo 2020 as main goal.

The first to start were the men, who completed their job at the gym in the morning waiting for the turn in court, scheduled for this afternoon. Mendez was present in a work that involved 17 players: Maximiliano Cavanna, Gaspar Bitar, Matías Giraudo, Bruno Lima, Manuel Balagué, Federico Pereyra, Martín Ramos, Gastón Fernández, Maximiliano Gauna, Joaquín Gallego, Ezequiel Palacios, Ignacio Luengas, Cristian Poglajen, Lisandro Zanotti, Nicolás Lazo, Luciano Palonsky and Facundo Santucci

On the women´s side, Ferraro started his practice a few minutes later at the Carl Diem courts with 16 Panthers, waiting for Camila Hiruela, who will arrive this Monday night to join the training sessions. In the case of the girls, the work was fully performed on the playing field to then continue with weights in the gym.

They were part of the first day of work Tatiana Vera, Valentina Galiano, Victoria Mayer, Anahí Tosi, Erika Mercado, Julieta Lazcano, Victoria Michel Tosi, Natalia Aispurúa, Bianca Farriol, Victoria Zabala, Daniela Bulaich, Irene Verasio, Agostina Soria, Candela Salinas, Rosa Reinoso and Valentina González.

Both teams will continue to work throughout the week at the CeNARD, waiting for the players who have not finished the season with their clubs yet and who will join as they close their participations.
